Anyway - I digress after returning the SteelSeries, I took a plunge on this (HyperX Cloud Orbit S), a considerably more expensive headset. however I can categorically confirm that this headset is plagued by a bug which causes it to randomly disappear from your devices when not in use (making you have to unplug and re-connect the headset) I reached out to the good folks at SteelSeries and they said this is a known issue (and has been since last year). I originally bought a SteelSeries Arctis Pro + Game DAC. I (like most of us) am isolating currently and I thought I would treat myself to a new gaming headset to better enjoy the experience (and not annoy the other half - which is equally if not more important).
